Guitarist Eric Johnson to tour UK
Johnson, who plays vintage Stratocasters, kicks-off the five-date tour at Holmfirth Picturedrome on Friday July 5th.
The tour will see the guitar man play material from new album Up Close plus songs from his diverse back catalogue.
Johnson is known for his skills as a pianist and vocalist.
His music crosses genres, fusing rock, blues, jazz, fusion, folk, new age and country.
Johnson was hailed by Joe Bonamassa, the blues guitarist, as "one of the greatest guitar players of all time" and Guitar Player magazine has labelled him "one of the most respected guitarists on the planet".
Eric Johnson's July 2012 UK Tour dates are: Holmfirth Picturedrome (Friday July 6th); Glasgow O2 ABC (Saturday July 7th); The Sage Gateshead (Sunday July 8th); Bath Komedia (Monday July 9th) and London Leicester Square Theatre (Tuesday July 10th).
