Guitar players never stop learning, says Jimmy Page
Electric guitar players never stop learning new things, one rock legend has asserted.
According to Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, he has learned a lot from every musical project he has ever been involved with.
"You're learning as you go along - second by second," he commented.
Speaking to the Scotsman, Page said he feels very blessed that he can always come up with something new on the guitar.
This, he stated, means that he will always be able to put his energy into different musical ventures and projects.
Indeed, he revealed that he hopes to bring some of his latest ideas to fruition at some point this year.
"Playing the guitar was obviously what I was meant to do in life," Page said.
The guitar legend had publicly expressed a desire to take Led Zeppelin on tour after their one-off reunion gig in 2007.
However, frontman Robert Plant is currently working with singer Alison Krauss, a collaboration which has spawned the award-winning album Raising Sand.Posted on 5 Jan 2010 17:00 to category : Instruments News
