Guitar legends take collaboration to North America
Posted on 3 Dec 2009 14:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar legends Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck are to take their collaboration across the Atlantic.
The two musicians are both former members of The Yardbirds, although they never played together in the seminal rock band.
However, the pair recently announced two dates at the O2 Arena in London after they performed together in Japan earlier this year.
Clapton and Beck are to follow up their UK gigs in February 2010 with an excursion to the US, where they will play Madison Square Garden in New York.
The rockers will then move on to Canada, performing gigs in Toronto and Montreal.
Clapton, who has also played in groups such as Derek and the Dominoes and Cream, recently hailed Beck as one of the finest electric guitar players in the world.
Following his stint in The Yardbirds, Beck went on to enjoy success with The Jeff Beck Group before pursuing a solo career.
