Groove Armada back to basics

Groove Armada couldn't wait to get back to basics.
The dance duo were keen to start performing in warehouses and car parks, to show they still had the energy in them, after enjoying years of more glamorous gigs including Glastonbury and Lovebox.
Talking about their UK warehouse tour last year, band member Andy Cato said: "It was basically saying, 'OK we're going to swap some of the biggest stages in the world for warehouses.' Go right back to basics and just start again.
"It's refreshing, it's an exciting thing to do. If you're scared of that, you end up hiding behind your main stage heritage.
"The one way to find out whether you've got substance or not is to perform in a car park."
Although they enjoyed playing on the Other Stage at 2008's Glastonbury, the duo admitted they had to scale down their shows after that.
Tom Findlay said: "The Glastonbury gig was this amazing peak and everything else after that felt a little bit like excess. We'd vamped the show up to such a degree it just got too ridiculous. We just needed to bring it down."
