Glasvegas star feeling 'euphoric' about second album
Posted on 18 Jun 2010 18:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

James Allen, the singer and guitarist in Glasvegas, has said he is delighted with the sound of the band's new record.
The Scottish group came in for critical acclaim for their self-titled debut, which was released back in 2008.
But Allen told the Daily Record that its follow-up will be a considerable step up.
"It's like comparing a photo of a 10-year-old and a 15-year-old," he stated. "It's gone from Disney to Levi's. I'm totally euphoric about it."
The guitar player revealed that he is just back in the UK, having spent five months in the US, where demos for the new LP were written and recorded.
Earlier this year, drummer Caroline McKay quit the band with Allen stating at the time the rest of Glasvegas were really sad to hear of her decision.
He said that McKay was "one of the coolest drummers" around in the world of music.
