Glasvegas announce summer UK tour
The Scottish band will kick off at The Cluny in Newcastle on June 18th before moving onto Manchester's Deaf Institute (19th), London XOYO (20th), Aberdeen Garage (27th), Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (28th) and finishing with a homecoming show at Glasgow's ABC on the 29th.
Glasvegas are due to release their third studio album, Later...When The TV Turns To Static, later in the year and those buying tickets for the upcoming tour will be given the offer of an extra treat through the official website.
Fans will have the chance to pick up the limited edition white vinyl 7" single of the title track from the album and the current single, I'd Rather Be Dead (Than Be With You), which was released as part of Record Store Day on April 20th.
Glasvegas broke into the mainstream music scene with their self-titled debut in 2008 which pushed raw emotion into the indie spectrum and was a huge hit in the UK, going platinum and reaching number two in the album charts.
Tickets for the June tour go on sale on Wednesday (April 24th) with pre-sales already underway on the band's website.
