Glasvegas and The Cribs added to RockNess line-up
A host of new additions have been announced for the RockNess 2011 Festival, with the likes of The Cribs, Glasvegas and We Are Scientists all being put on the bill.
Further acts to be confirmed for the bash, which is taking place between June 10th and 12th, include Two Door Cinema Club, DJ Shadow and Magnetic Man.
Dance act Groove Armada will also be bringing their Red Light show to RockNess, which promises to offer festivalgoers a "four deck, multi F-X, audio-visual DJ experience".
Other DJ sets are to be provided by BBC Radio 1 stars Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, with the latter being joined by Erol Alkan when she takes to the decks.
Festival director Jim King said he was delighted with the way the line-up is coming along.
"There are quality bands and DJs from all genres of music and this is just the start with many more acts still to be announced," he stated.
RockNess organisers are currently celebrating a notable triumph at the NME Awards, where their event won out in the Best Small Festival category.
It beat off competition from fellow nominees Bestival, Latitude, Kendal Calling and Underage to claim the accolade.
