Gibson unveils Firebird X
Henry Juszkiewicz, chairman and chief executive officer, showed the instrument off for the first time in New York yesterday (October 28th 2010) in a hotly-anticipated press conference.
The Firebird X has been designed to set new standards in usability and functionality for beginners and professionals, with the latest manufacturing and technological innovations used to create the guitar.
"This is new. This is different. This is revolution," said Mr Juszkiewicz. "Nobody [else] looks and spends the time to reinvent the guitar."
Gibson has extremely high hopes for its latest instrument, promising earlier this week that Mr Juszkiewicz's announcement would "change music forever".
According to the company, the upgraded Firebird has built on an already outstanding instrument and made it even better.
