Gibson to rerelease Randy Rhoads Les Paul guitar

Electric guitar manufacturer Gibson has announced it is going to reproduce the special edition 1974 Les Paul played by Randy Rhoads.
The musician worked with Ozzy Osbourne on the records Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman and Gibson said fans of his work have been clamouring to have his Les Paul rereleased.
A statement by the company said the guitar "has been one of the most requested re-issues ever".
"The guitar that drove 'Crazy Train' off the rails will soon be available in stores," it added.
Earlier this month, a host of stars from the world of music lined up to pay tribute to Les Paul in a BBC Radio 2 documentary about his life and work.
The show recalled Paul's innovations with pickups and the solid body electric guitar and featured contributions from the likes of Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Joe Bonamassa and BB King, reported the Guardian.
