Gibson joins Twitter and Facebook
Posted on 28 Jan 2010 16:54 to category : Instruments News

People who own a Gibsonguitar or want to purchase one can get a little bit closer to the instrument manufacturer after it announced it was joining Facebook and Twitter.
The company said it was joining the social media networks in an attempt to let Gibsonguitar users and fans interact with each other sharing musical tips, stories and pictures.
Musicians who decide to follow the manufacturer on Twitter or become a fan on Facebook can also expect to be given access to free downloads, music reviews and exclusive interviews, it was revealed.
Other features of their social networking will include new product announcements and competitions for Gibsonguitar users.
Among the artists to use Gibsonguitars are Wayne Coyne, the frontman of The Flaming Lips and solo artist Corinne Bailey Rae, who recently picked up a new acoustic guitar from the company ahead of the release of her new album.
