Gibson hails staying power of Epiphone acoustic guitar

An Epiphone acoustic guitar has been singled out for praise by instrument manufacturer Gibson.
Gibson commended the body shape of the PR5-E in particular, describing it as distinctive and evocative of other classic guitars such as the Casino.
In addition, the instrument was said to have "the perfect sound, size and feel", as well as "timeless beauty".
Features such as its mahogany neck and slightly arched back and sides also drew praise, as Gibson said this gives it a "sweet tone" that projects well even when it is not plugged into a guitar amp.
The company stated that these attributes have turned the Epiphone PR5-E into an enduring acoustic guitar that has "withstood the test of time".
This comes shortly after Britney Christian posed with her Epiphone PR5-E on her latest promotional material in the US.
