Gibson has expressed its delight at receiving a glowing review for one of its electric guitars.
The Les Paul Axcess Standard was recently the subject of an article by Simon Bradley for MusicRadar.com.
Writing for the website, he described the instrument as a "truly gorgeous" guitar that combines elements of Gibson's heritage with a number of modern innovations.
Mr Bradley also commended its affordability, saying it offered fair value to guitarists even at its full recommended retail price.
Gibson was very happy with the positive appraisal, as the article was "gushing" about the electric guitar's features and appearance.
"Typically, we're not ones to toot our own horn, but we sure do love it when someone else does it for us," it commented.
Mr Bradley admitted that while traditionalists may not like some of the features of the Les Paul Axcess Standard, "whammy-abusing rockers" may find this electric guitar hard to resist.
