BB King has been commended by the electric guitar company behind his famous instrument.
Gibson described the 83-year-old blues guitarist as "legendary" following a successful gig at Wembley Arena in London this week.
King - who famously plays a Gibson electric guitar called Lucille - was commended for putting on an impressive two-hour show, which including songs such as Let The Good Times Roll and The Thrill Has Gone.
The company also singled out his "exceptional guitar playing" for praise, in particular his licks over the pounding shuffle which kicked off the gig.
Gibson added that King, who is touring in support of his One Kind of Favour LP, can still perform very strong vocals in the upper register.
This comes shortly after King told the Telegraph that even at 83 he is still learning new tricks on the electric guitar, despite his age.
He said that if he does not learn something new every day, he considers that day to have been wasted.
