Gibson guitars 'are an institution'

The electric guitars manufactured by Gibson have become part of the fabric of the music world.
Speaking to Celebrity Access, Henry Juszkiewicz, chairman and chief executive officer of Gibson Guitar explained the company has had an important role to play in the history of rock 'n' roll.
Among the legendary musicians to play Gibson guitars down the years are Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa and Neil Young, a fact looked on by Mr Juszkiewicz with pride.
"For well over a century, Gibson and its people have touched millions of lives all over the world. So, I look at it as an institution," he stated.
Earlier this week, an article on the Gibson website pointed out that the company's Les Paul Standard 1959 guitar has been employed by many great musicians.
It explained that Don Felder of The Eagles used the instrument for all of his solos on the band's Hotel California album.
