Posted on 2 Feb 2010 15:32 to category : Instruments News

A Gibsonguitar signed by The Prodigy has been put up for auction to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
As well as The Prodigy's Gibsonguitar, Kaiser Chiefs have also signed a drum kit which will go to the highest bidder.
Meanwhile, Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant will be performing a special gig in February as part of Cancer Research UK's annual Sound & Vision event.
The performance, which will see Plant joined onstage by a full choir, is to take place at Abbey Road in London, with support coming from solo stars David Gray and Newton Faulkner.
Tickets for this exclusive event are also being auctioned off to raise money for the charity.
Plant said: "Cancer is a disease that affects so many people and Sound & Vision is a great way to raise money to fight it."
Earlier this week, a Fender Stratocasterguitar used by Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner was auctioned off for £4,600 to raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
