Gibson donates electric guitar for charity auction
Gibson has donated the instruments to raise funds for the War Child organisation, which works with young people in wartorn countries.
A Gibson Les Paul was signed by the array of stars attending this year's Mojo Awards in London, including Yoko Ono, Jeff Beck, Paul Weller and Joe Brown.
Bernard Butler, Johnny Marr and Seasick Steve also wrote their names on the electric guitar, as did Scott Gorham of Thin Lizzy, Elbow and ZZ Top rocker Billy Gibbons.
It was not just musicians doing their bit for the charity auction, as artist Sir Peter Blake added his signature to the electric guitar as well.
Sir Peter is perhaps best known in music circles for designing the iconic cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles.
