Gibson acoustic guitars are the instrument of choice for rising Australian star Catherine Britt.

Britt, who releases her latest self-titled album on May 27th 2010, owns several different models of Gibson acoustic guitars each with their own great sound and feel.

In an interview with Gibson about her upcoming album, Britt revealed that she enjoys taking the musical instruments on the road when she's touring.

Britt said: "I love my Gibsons and really think I have some of the best-sounding Gibsons I have ever played."

Counting Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams and Patty Griffin among her influences Catherine Britt has already had three critically-acclaimed albums under her belt, as well as once recording a duet with Elton John.

After two years working on her forthcoming album, Britt is about to embark on a tour of her home country which will include a special VIP launch of her new record at The Supper Club in New South Wales.
