Gibson Original announces new instruments
Posted on 17 Apr 2009 17:00 to category : Instruments News
Gibson Original has announced the addition of two new mandolins and a banjo to its range of instruments.

Just 20 of the Vintage Granada instruments will be produced, while the Sam Bush model will have a limited run of 25.
Gibson did not say how many of the F-10 mandolins will be available, but revealed that it was inspired by the classic F-10, which appeared brand new in the 1934 Gibson catalogue.
While large parts of the mandolin are faithful to the original, a few changes have been made to the instrument "in order to meet the demands of the modern player".
Mandolins played a major part in the formation of the Gibson guitar manufacturing company at the turn of the 20th century, with the firm incorporated at Gibson Mandolin-Guitar in 1902.
