Gibson Custom unveils Robby Krieger SG

Gibson Custom has lifted the veil on its latest signature instrument, the Inspired by Robby Krieger SG.
The electric guitar has many of the same features as a Gibson SG Standard, including an ABR-1 Bridge and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
It also comes with '57 Classic humbucker pickups, the Aged Dark Heritage Cherry of Krieger's 1967 SG Standard and a hybrid neck bringing together qualities from that instrument and a 1961 Gibson SG.
According to the Gibson website, the guitar "may just be the most comfortable-playing SG that Gibson Custom has ever produced".
Earlier this month, Gibson declared the SG Standard, which has been in production for approximately 48 years, to be its best-selling instrument ever, ahead of the Les Paul Standard.
