George Harrison's music 'was joyful and important'
Posted on 18 Jun 2009 14:15 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Olivia Harrison is this week promoting a new career retrospective of the electric guitarist's career, which includes hits such as My Sweet Lord and Got My Mind Set On You.
Speaking about her husband, she described him as a very humble man who often felt as if the experience of being in The Beatles happened to someone else.
Indeed, she said he would sometimes look at old photos and say "that's Beatle George", as if it was a picture of another person.
Olivia added that George was also the driving force behind the supergroup The Traveling Wilbury's, in which he collaborated with luminaries such as Roy Orbison and Bob Dylan.
"George was the kingpin, the driving force," she told the Herald.
"Nobody was there to try to prove anything."
Rumours have recently been circulating that ex-Wilbury Dylan could be set to collaborate with one of George's former bandmates, as reports have suggested that he may soon record with Sir Paul McCartney.
