Gear4music are now stocking the Moog Minimoog Model D Analog Synthesizer, an accurate replication of the original Minimoog Model D that first saw the light of day 46 years ago.

Using the original manufacturing techniques that helped give the initial model its critically acclaimed sound and feel, the Minimoog Model D Analog Synthesizer features TIS97, TIS93 and TIS92 transistors; faithful components to the original that helped deliver its trademark sound. The Minimoog Model D Analog Synthesizer has been painstakingly crafted by hand with locally sourced Appalachian hardwood, which greatly contributes to its robust nature and contemporary look and aesthetic.

Whilst the original sound has been kept, a host of new features contribute to the synths modern format. One of these features is the Fatar Keyboard. This addition provides a number of expressive controls including velocity and pressure sensitivity. With this feature the user can expect intricate parameter setting and manipulation that helps to achieve their ideal sound. A dedicated LFO has been implemented into the Minimoog Model D for even more user defined settings. With triangle and square wave shapes, CV outputs, gate velocity and MIDI integration the Mini Moog puts a innovative modern twist upon an old classic.

Whilst its sonic capabilities leave the user with a multitude of creative opportunities, its Moog's penchant no nonsense practicality that sets it apart from the rest. With its simple layout and operation, the user is able to play in a fluid manner without the hassle of awkward controls that may otherwise hinder a live performance.
