Gear4music Meets Takamine Guitars
At the event which took place at the Stables Milton Keynes, retailers, including Gear4music, had the chance to try numerous guitars across the company’s G-Series and Pro Series instruments as well as being enlightened by some amazing looking and sounding products to be officially revealed in 2016.
Takamine Director / General Manager, Makoto Terasaki and International Business Manager, Daisuke Uegaki, were also on hand to give a fantastic and thorough history of the company, which began in 1959. As well as elaborating on the intricacies of the manufacturing process of the pro series guitars crafted in Japan.
Guitars in the Pro Series are setup professionally with asymmetrical C-shaped necks for comfort during longer playing times and performances, and the laser-guided precision used in the fret finishing process for tonal clarity.
The Takamine brand is dubbed as the ‘hardest working guitar’ has a number of high profile endorsers such as Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Glenn Frey (The Eagles), Bruno Mars, Garth Brooks and more.
