Gear4music Is Now Stocking Snareweight Products
Based in the USA, Snareweight has designed products that allow you to change the tone of your snare drum quickly without the need to re-head your drum. The added mass to the drumhead from the Snareweight results in an overall smoother, focused and richer sound.
On the Snareweight #4 system this equates to 2-3db of compression on the snare drum to help allow the snare drum to sit comfortably in the mix of a live setting or in the recording studio.
Your hits can vary or stray a bit from center and the tone will remain consistent within a 3 to 4 inch diameter. Both triple flange hoops and die cast hoops are accommodated for. Snareweight is used for triple flange hoops and snareweight and pro lock are used for die cast hoops.
