Frank Turner 'progressing well in the studio'
Singer-songwriter Frank Turner has told his fans he is making good progress on the recording of his latest album.
Writing on social networking site Twitter, the star explained that he is into his fourth day of recording in the studio and the work on laying down his new tracks is moving at speed.
Earlier this week, Turner let slip some details about how his next record may sound via Twitter, explaining that on one song he is attempting to come up with a bass guitar sound similar to one used by Neil Young for Harvest.
The guitarist is also seeking out a brass band at the moment to work on his album by heading into the studio and recording a short piece for his new LP.
Posting on his official blog earlier this week, Turner said he is feeling positive about how the record is shaping up.
"I feel excited, confident, slightly pressured and many things more. Time alone will tell where this record is going, but I've got a good feeling," the musician explained.
