Foo Fighters to play garage gigs at fans' homes
Foo Fighters will be taking their musical instruments on a special tour of the US as they promote their new album Wasting Light.
The electric guitar band are to give several private performances in the garages of their fans, with competition winners able to invite 50 friends to each gig.
Chosen entrants will also be handed a signed copy of the group's new record as part of their prize.
Foo Fighters are to perform in or around cities including New York, Denver, Chicago and Washington DC as part of the special series of gigs.
Their American followers have been told they need to submit a photo of their garage along with a short explanation of why they want to win the prize in order to enter.
The Foos have a busy touring schedule ahead of them this year, with the band set to play in New Zealand and Australia later this month.
Further appearances are planned at various European festivals during the summer, including T in the Park and the Isle of Wight Festival in the UK.
The electric guitar band will also play two massive shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl on July 2nd and 3rd.
