Foo Fighters in Sentimental David Letterman Late Show Finale
Letterman is a huge fan of the band and had previously asked them to perform the song in 2000 following his quintuple bypass surgery. This time the band had turned up in tuxedos to mark the occasion which was awash with nostalgic clips from Letterman’s longstanding affinity with the Late Show.
The band even elongated the song to squeeze just a few more clips to the montage even though the show had passed its curfew time. There was even a short clip of the Taylor Hawkins signature Gretsch snare , which sounded as amazing live as it does to look at.
The band are scheduled to hit UK shores on 25th May on a short tour before hitting European festival season, which includes the infamous Glastonbury Festival.
