Foo Fighters drummer teams up with Queen stars for side project
Taylor Hawkins, the man behind the drum kit in Foo Fighters, has announced details of his side project, Coattail Riders.
The group's second LP, Red Light Fever, is due out on April 19th 2010 and features a host of guest stars.
Among those appearing on with Hawkin's new group are Queen's electric guitar player Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, reports NME.
Also featuring on the record are Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, along with Elliot Easton, the electric guitar player in The Cars.
Song titles for the Red Light Fever record have also been revealed Not Bad Luck, Hell to Pay and Way Down are set to be among the tracks.
Foo Fighters are currently on an indefinite hiatus as lead singer Grohl tours and records with his new group Them Crooked Vultures, which also features Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones and Queen of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme.Posted on 21 Feb 2010 09:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
