Foo Fighters confirmed as headliners for Isle of Wight Festival
Electric guitar band Foo Fighters have been confirmed as the latest headline act for next year's Isle of Wight Festival.
Organisers had already announced Kings of Leon and Pulp will be playing at the bash in 2011 and Dave Grohl's group have now been added to the line-up.
With the festival taking place between Friday June 10th and Sunday June 12th 2011, Foo Fighters will perform on the Saturday evening.
Festival promoter John Giddings said he was delighted to welcome the electric guitar band back to the event, which will be celebrating its tenth anniversary next year.
"They gave it their all in 2006 and have only become bigger and better since," he stated.
Foo Fighters are set for a busy summer of live shows in the UK, as they have also been booked to play two gigs at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the first week of July, with support coming from the likes of Biffy Clyro and Jimmy Eat World.
