Focusrite Provide Updates and Deals For Clarett Interfaces
This winter Focusrite have a whole bunch of new product updates and offers bound to leave you feeling festive.
First and foremost, Focusrite have announced that their exceedingly popular Clarett range will now be compatible with PC's thanks to a new windows driver. This driver affords the user the ability to operate on Thunderbolt equipped Windows computers providing an authentic replication of functionality to that of any Mac.
With 3 sub milliseconds in round trip latency and the same reliable stable operation as Mac users, the Clarett range will now be more accessible to users than ever before. With such low latency, users can now record and monitor whilst simultaneously using their preferred plug-ins in real time.
In addition to this groundbreaking update, Focusrite are now offering customers the chance to purchase either the Clarett-8 Pre or Clarett-8 Pre X for a greatly reduced price, right up until the 31st of December.
Designed to be implemented within a project studio that requires an abundance of I/0, the 18-in, 20-out Clarett 8 Pre combines eight brand new Clarett mic preamps with cutting edge digital conversion and extra low latency. With this, users can now expect to use DAW plugins whilst monitoring any performance that's being recorded.
The Clarett 8 Pre X on the other hand is more suited to permanent installations. With a formidable 26 inputs and 28 outputs; eight of which are analogue inputs and ten that are analogue outputs the Clarett 8 Pre X has been specifically designed to be the workhorse of the modern producer. With stereo S/PDIF I/O and 16 channels of ADAT I/O, the Clarett 8 Pre X can successfully connect to additional inputs or outputs such as a multi channel digital mic pre or external D/A (for additional line outputs).
