Foals announce massive UK and Ireland tour
The band are set to play a 21-date venture around the two countries with a number of intimate shows taking place in November and December while the bigger gigs have been announced for late-February and March.
Foals will be hitting Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow and Norwich among others on the latter part of the tour, culminating in a huge show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on March 28th which sold out in 15 minutes.
The Oxfordshire band are set to release their new record Holy Fire on February 11th 2013 and it will be the follow-up to 2010's Total Life Forever and the proceeding tour will no doubt give the fans a taste of the latest material live.
Speaking about the band's new record, singer Yannis Philippakis told NME: "There are some heavier moments and some dirtier moments. It's swampy, some of the grooves are quite stinky. There's a track called My Number that had a Curtis Mayfield groove which was pretty unashamedly funk, for want of a better word."
