Florence Welch: Arcade Fire made me burst into tears
Florence Welch got so starstruck when she met the band Arcade Fire that she burst into tears.
The lead singer of Florence and the Machine told Nylon Magazine in a video interview that she fell in love with the band after hearing their debut album Funeral.
Welch, who is currently finishing off her follow-up studio album, said she would like to work with the Canadian group in the foreseeable future.
While being styled in various outfits, the singer-songwriter told the magazine: "I met Win Butler recently and I was so starstruck that I cried.
"I went to see them at the O2 Arena and I went to the after-party and after they all came in and I met him I just started to cry."
Arcade Fire are known for playing a multitude of music instruments on stage, which always leads to energetic and loud performances.
Florence and the Machine are working with the renowned producer Paul Epworth at the equally celebrated Abbey Road Studio.
