Example has also been revealed as a headliner for one of the three days of the Scottish event, which is due to take place at Loch Ness between June 7th and 9th, forming part of the annual festival season in the UK.
The likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, The Maccabees, Ellie Goulding, Ben Howard, Jessie Ware, Camera Obscura and Newton Faulkner will also be appearing at the Highlands event.
Speaking at the launch of this year's event, festival director Jim King said: "I'm delighted to announce the first names we're bringing to the party at Loch Ness this summer. We've been working hard behind the scenes to bring you an eclectic line up of the highest calibre acts for which Rockness is synonymous."
Rockness has been growing rapidly since its creation in 2006 and last year's event was its biggest to date with the likes of Biffy Clyro, Mumford & Sons and Deadmau5 headlining.
Tickets for the 2013 festival are on sale for £139 from the Rockness website.
