Fender Telecaster 'is a fantastic guitar'

Lead singer of BigBang Oystein Greni has stated that his favourite guitar is the Fender Telecaster, after he was allowed to play one as a child by his musician father.
Speaking to the Fender website, the Norwegian singer said that he had been taught to play the guitar by his dad when he was younger.
But although his father - who once performed in a band that opened for Led Zeppelin - owned a Fender Telecaster, it was not this instrument that the young musician was normally allowed to practise on.
"He only let me use it if I did the dishes," Mr Greni said.
"Tele's have been my favourite guitars for years and years," he added. "It's a fantastic guitar."
The group are currently on tour around their native country, where they are promoting their latest album Edendale, which was inspired by their adopted home of California and the silent movie industry that was established in an area of the same name.
