Fender Stratocaster signed by Kaiser Chiefs up for auction

A Fender Stratocasterguitar signed by the indie band Kaiser Chiefs is to be auctioned off to raise money for a charity.
The musical instrument will be one of the most sought-after lots at the event, which is taking place at the Myton Grand Summer Fete on Sunday (July 4th 2010), reports the Coventry Telegraph.
Along with the Fender Stratocaster, other items for grabs in the auction include a mountain bike and tickets to see Coventry Blaze play ice hockey, with all of the funds going towards the Myton Hospice.
Myton events manager Charlotte Ingram said: "The fete is a real family day out and there is plenty of entertainment.
"There are some great items in our auction and we are hoping to raise £17,000."
Earlier this year, a Fender Stratocaster used by Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys was auctioned off and managed to raise £4,600 for Oxfam's efforts in Haiti.
