Fender Stratocaster 'may feature in Jimi Hendrix Rock Band game'

A replica Fender Stratocaster may form a part of the new Rock Band content based on Jimi Hendrix songs, it has been suggested.
Last week, Rolling Stone revealed that Hendrix's Axis: Bold as Love album will feature on Rock Band, as well as recently released single Valleys of Neptune.
They will be made available as downloads to gamers from March 30th 2010, with further Hendrix albums set to be released in the future.
FrontRow, the official Fender blog, said that a full game, similar to Rock Band: The Beatles, may be brought out, while the inclusion of replicas of the instruments used by Hendrix could also come out.
"As we all know, Jimi's famed white Strat would be the most obvious [choice]," it added.
Last month, Hendrix's stepsister Janie told the LA Times of the plans to release a full version of the game, stating that it should be in shops before the end of the year.
