Fender Deluxe Reverb guitar amp features in Dead Peasants' video
Posted on 5 Aug 2010 11:17 to category : Band / Celebrity News

A Fender Deluxe Reverb guitar amp is one of the stars of the new video for the latest release from Chris Shiflett and the Dead Peasants.
Shiflett is better known as the principal guitarist for rock supergroup the Foo Fighters.
However, over past winter, the Californian was busy branching out as a solo artist, with his latest album recorded with his backup band, the Dead Peasants.
Now, with the fruit of the winter's work due to be released in the next few weeks, the group has released the video for its first single, Get Along.
Though shot on a budget, the Sam Jones-produced video wouldn't look out of place on MTV, with the Fender Deluxe Reverb amp used by Shiflett showcased in all its glory on several occasions.
Praising Jones in an interview with Spinner, the 39-year-old guitarist said: "I figured we would do something cheap and on the sly, but he blew me away with a full-on pro video shoot. I never could have made something this good without him."
Shiflett joined the Foo Fighters on the back of the release of their third album, having previously played in No Use for a Name.
