Electric guitar manufacturer Fender has welcomed a review of its Fender Blender fuzz box from Analog War Cry.

The company published extracts from the internet blog's lengthy write-up on its website to highlight its views on the guitar effects pedal.

Electric guitar players who use a Fender Blender can enjoy features such as Sustain Control, allowing them to prolong notes by increasing the output boost.

The device also features tone and blend control, as well as a Tone Boost footswitch.

"Here is a chance for all you pedal hounds to truly get a taste of a timeless classic - a fuzz box that will deliver forever more," Analog War Cry said.

Fender also highlighted the section in which the review said the Fender Blender does not necessarily belong to any one music era or sound.

"It just sounds good period," the review stated.

The Fender Blender is a reissue of a product previously sold by the company between 1968 and 1977.
