Fender Announce Signature Flea Jazz Bass
This made in Mexico Jazz bass is a faithful recreation of Flea's prized '61 Jazz Bass, an instrument which he feels is "the greatest bass he has ever played."
This signature model comes in a unique road worn shell pink finish with a 3-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and a special neck plate engraved with Flea's own artwork.
The bass also offers a definitively clear bass tone with plenty of low-end, which is delivered via two vintage '64 Jazz Bass single-coil pickups.
The band are currently on tour in Europe in support of their new record The Getaway.
