Feeder: Guitar music is doing okay
Posted on 10 Feb 2012 14:48 to category : Instruments News

The alternative Welsh rock band, who stormed to fame in 2002 with Comfort In Sound, their fourth studio album told Drowned in Sound that guitar music has been around for such a long time that it can never die.
"Whenever there's a media backlash against something it goes underground, but that doesn't mean hundreds of great bands aren't there," said frontman Grant Nicholas.
"It's quite ridiculous to even suggest such a thing. It's not going away, never."
The band discussed the reception to their new songs, stating that it had been really good.
Nicholas explained that it is always hard for audiences to hear new songs because they love the classics, but that it helps for the band to mix it up, old and new.
The front man owns a signature 1967 Fender Jazzmaster, although as of late, he has been a fan of the Telecaster range of electric guitars.
Their new studio album, Generation Freakshow, comes out on April 23rd.
