Fargen Amps launches John Lennon signature amp
The US manufacturer stated that the JL-15 brings together the signature tones from the Beatles guitarist's music in the '60s and '70s. This latest model follows on from the production version which was launched by the company in December 2012.
It will allow musicians to channel the genius of Lennon when playing and achieve the tone that was synonymous with the Beatles icon. Officials at Fargen explained that the amp features a two-way 'Decade Switch' which allows guitarists to flick between the two genre-defining sounds.
Ben Fargen, founder of Fargen amps, said: "I've taken the design and features from the original limited edition Lennon Artist Series and built them into the JL-15, which is more accessible by players at-large, priced as the market would expect in a boutique combo.”
The amps are currently not yet available in the UK and but are being stocked throughout Fargen's dealerships in the US priced at $2,700 (£1,794).
