She played a version of Chariots of Fire by Vangelis, theme to the well-known movie of the same name. And the name of the woman sat at the keyboard? Myleene Klass.
The music instrument action was due to take place last Wednesday, ahead of the Olympics, with Klass's instrument being a concert grand, according to Heathrow Airport.
"It's a wonderful opportunity to be part of London's biggest welcome for people arriving for the London 2012 Games," the one-time Hear'Say singer said of the airport performance.
"I'm sure it will create a lasting memory both for me and Heathrow's passengers as we all look forward to the start of the Games," she added.
Klass was a member of the five-piece pop group Hear'Say, who were put together on the Popstars TV programme. The group had both male and female members, and their hit songs included Everybody and Pure and Simple.
