Faithless' 'emotional' Glastonbury experience
Posted on 2 Aug 2010 07:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Faithless found performing at this year's Glastonbury festival an emotional experience.
The British electrionic trio - who played before of Stevie Wonder on the final day at this years event- revealed when the band performed at the iconic festival in Somerset, South West England, in 2002, they never thought they would get the opportunity to do it again.
Singer Sister Bliss explained: "Amazing, 80,000 people. I feel blessed we were able to do it. After playing there in 2002, I never thought we'd do it again. Maxi Jazz and I had a moment where we choked up a bit."
The DJ - real name Ayalah Bentovim - admitted since forming 15 years ago, the band have come to accept they can't appeal to everyone, but would rather put their own creativity first than try to win over more people
She added: "Faithless have always been a little outside the mainstream. It's very easy to get to our level and become complacent. I don't ever want that. It's better to go with a combative approach than with the idea that everybody loves you.
"I look back over every album and feel blessed we've never had to compromise."
