Ex-Kiss star praises Gibson Les Paul guitars

Bruce Kulick, an electric guitar player who used to perform in Kiss, has explained his love of Gibson Les Paulguitars.
Speaking to the instrument manufacturer's website, Kulick stated that he particularly loves Gibson Les Pauls from the 1950s.
"The 1950s Gibsons have a certain magic and over the years their custom shop has manufactured fine instruments that actually get close to that, if not perfect it," he stated.
Kulick added that in his opinion the "ultimate Les Paul" was accomplished by Gibson in 1958, although his favourite guitar is actually a 1953 conversion model of the instrument.
The electric guitar player stated that he had used that particular Les Paul on many of the Kiss records and continues to bring it to the majority of his solo recording session.
Gibson has recently launched a free iPhone app that allows users to tune up their guitars, as well as practice their playing using more than 30 chord charts.
