Epiphone to release Roy Orbison 12-string guitar

Guitar brand Epiphone is to release a 12-string acoustic inspired by Roy Orbison.
Orbison, who is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame died in 1988, but his widow Barbara suggested he would have been thrilled to have a guitar named after him.
"I hope the next generation of artists will feel inspired to write another great rock and roll song thanks to the Epiphone signature Roy Orbison 12-string acoustic guitar," she remarked.
An official unveiling of the acoustic will take place today (April 23rd) at London's Gibson Guitar Studio.
In addition to the instrument itself, the guitar comes with the sheet music for Oh, Pretty Woman, a hard case bearing Orbison's signature and a lapel pin in the shape of the artist's trademark sunglasses.
