Epiphone Casino signed by stars to be auctioned for charity

An Epiphone Casino electric guitar signed by a host of stars from the world of music is to be auctioned off to raise money for an anti-puppy farming charity.

The likes of Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, David Gilmour and Brian May have all autographed the instrument to show their support for Pup Aid 2010, which is designed to promote the decent treatment of animals and end the practice of mass-breeding dogs so they can be sold.

Others who have signed the guitar include Eric Clapton, Mick Jones, Paul Weller and Roger Daltrey. The Epiphone Casino will be auctioned off on December 15th at Bonhams in London, in a line-up of musical items including Beatles lyrics and a Jimi Hendrix guitar.

Pup Aid 2010 has been organised by television vet Marc Abraham, who is a regular guest on ITV's This Morning and Sky One series My Pet Shame, as well as acting as an adviser to the Kennel Club of Great Britain.
