Elektron Announce Machinedrum Content Upgrade

Revolutionary synth and drum machine manufacturer Elektron have announced the first in its series of Sound Banks.
All Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1UW+ MKII units will come preloaded with Acoustic Sets.
The Sound Bank contains 23 sample banks containing carefully recorded samples, accompanied by numerous patterns and kits.
The company is describing it as an invaluable addition to the Machinedrum for hip-hop, dub, funk and pop producers.
If you already own a Machinedrum MKII or are intending to buy one in the near future, then the entire Acoustic Sets Sound Pack is available to download from the Elektron website.
The news follows an incredibly exciting array of announcements from Elektron, beginning in March with the introduction of +Drive.
All eyes are now poised on the company for news of the Octatrack, debuted at MusikMesse 2010.
The Octatrack is considered by many to be Ableton in hardware form.
