Electric guitar player Joe Mantera releasing new album
Electric guitar player Joe Mantera is to release an instrumental record that will demonstrate his skill on the musical instrument.
The former Geisha band member's new offering is called Face Off and it will likely feature the artist's signature style.
"At the heart of my guitar playing lays a life-long love affair with the electric guitar," he noted on his official website.
"I've always believed that to be a well rounded musician, it is important to explore all musical textures."
Mantera remarked that after using the acoustic guitar in his last offering, he felt it was time to return to his first love and plug in the amp again.
Fans of the performer will be able to get their hands on the long player from May 2nd.
Face Off is being billed as a high energy record that will have all of the qualities people have come to expect from a record released by Mantera.
The Angels' Rick Brewster makes a special guest appearance on one of the tracks and he noted he had a great time helping out his friend in the studio, while he also go to give his axe a good thrashing.
