Electric guitar band Razorlight reveal new line-up
Electric guitar band Razorlight have announced a new line-up as they continue their comeback.
The group are now made up of Johnny Borrell, David 'Skully' Sullivan Kaplan, Bjorn Agren and Carl Dalemo.
It means electric guitar player Johnny Borrell is now the only original member, but he called the decision to recruit new faces as occurring after they "agreed on an amicable parting".
A statement from the band said the decision to freshen things up had been taken after some unproductive recording sessions involving the previous members.
The latest version of Razorlight have confirmed they are to play Guilfest in Guildford during the summer, which is just one of a number of gigs they have coming up.
Edinburgh Corn Exchange and a large outdoor event in London are also on the cards.
Razorlight, who shot to fame in 2004 with their debut record Up All Night, are expected to release their fourth album sometime in 2011.
It will be the first new material from the band in three years and they will be looking to recapture the success of singles America, Rip It Up and Golden Touch.Posted on 27 Jan 2011 10:31 to category : Band / Celebrity News
