At this years Winter NAMM in Anaheim California January 19, 2017, EHX showcased their latest pedal, the 'Blurst Modulated Filter'. Able to modulate an instruments sound much like an envelope filter, the pedal's filter response is controlled by an internal oscillator, resulting in a much more precise and consistent output.

Featuring an analog low pass filter fitted with adjustable resonance and three modulation waveform shapes (triangle, rising saw-tooth and falling saw tooth), the pedal allows for precise user defined parameters that help your nail your own distinguished sound. Also featuring a frequency range knob and blend control, your parameters can be entered within seconds, allowing you to enjoy premium grade tone at the drop of a hat.

The user can set the modulation rate of the pedal by using either the on board rate knob or a combination of the tap foot switch and tap divide toggle switch, which is able to provide quarter, dotted eight and triplet rhythms. In addition to this the user can control the three EXP modes (range, rate and filter) by using an expression pedal or control voltage source.

Through a combination of its intuitive features and professional grade design, the Blurst's distinctive tonal properties grant the user an unprecedented auditory experience.

A pedal that is able to reproduce a wide array of different sounds and effects, the Blurst is a true revelation in the ever fluctuating world of guitar pedals. Able to produce a phase shifter like swirls, and tremolo induced crescendos, the Blurst equips the guitar player with an arsenal of tonal variety and exciting creative possibilities that have become a staple of EHX design. The Blurst Modulated Filter comes equipped with a standard EHX 9.6DC200mA power supply.

Also introduced at NAMM was EHX's Opertion Overlord Stereo Overdrive/Distortion Pedal. A versatile and multi-instrument accommodating pedal, the Operation Overlord features a three position switch that lets the user select the appropriate input level for their instrument whilst also ensuring that the pedal remains compatible with keyboards, bass and a multitude of other electronic instruments. Much like before the user is given complete control over their sound. With active treble, Mid and Bass controls the user can directly operate the pedal to achieve their desired tone within the blink of an eye.

Silent foot-switchable Normal and Boost modes are able to produce distortion that ranges from mild to saturated. Normal mode makes use of three JFET gain stages to recreate a classic tube amp-style response. Boost on the other hand adds a classic pedal-type overdrive circuit before the JFET stages Dedicated LED's indicate effect status. Completely stereo capable, the pedal is equipped with left and right 1/4" input and output jacks. The Operation Overlord comes equipped with a stand EHX 9.6DC200mA power supply.
