Drummers invited to improve their skills at free event
Posted on 2 Feb 2010 17:30 to category : Instruments News

Musicians looking to improve their ability behind the drum kit will be able to enhance their skills at a free event to be held in the north-east of England later this month.
The workshop, which has been organised by Mapex Drums, is to be held on February 20th 2010 at the Northern School of Contemporary Music in Darlington.
Among those handing out tips at the free event will be Karl Brazil, who has performed behind the drum kit for both Robbie Williams and Feeder, as well as Bob Dalton, who has played the drums for It Bites.
Mapex Drums has also announced that its education ambassador Steve White "will be performing an educational masterclass that promises to provide you with the tools to enhance your musicality and develop creativity around the kit".
Among the professional musicians that use Mapex drums are Neil Cooper of Therapy? and Lee Barratt from punk band Gallows.
